• You are a professional builder who carries out new constructions, alterations and extensions to dwellings and/or home units and commercial buildings.
• No one comprising the insured has been refused any type of insurance.
• No one comprising the insured has suffered bankruptcy.
• You have not incurred 2 or more claims in the last 3 years or a singular claim in excess of $5,000 in the last 5 years.
• The construction or maintenance period will not exceed 18 months.
• No construction work relates to industrial works.
• Construction will be a freestanding structure located outside the State's central business district.
• No work will take place north of Bundaberg in Queensland and north of Geraldton in Western Australia.
• Excavation will not exceed 2 metres in depth.
• No work involves special foundations, piling, underpinning, construction of basement or demolition (other than incidental).
• The project will not involve construction on steep blocks, reclaimed land, below water table or over water.
• If cover is only required for a single project, the construction has not already commenced.
• No work will be subject to a Historic or Heritage order.
• The construction will not involve kit homes.
• Work will not involve swimming pool construction.
• Work will not involve tilt slab construction exceeding 10 metres.
• There will be no asbestos being removed.
• No work will relate to civil construction.
