• You are an owner builder who is carrying out New Constructions, Alterations or Extensions to Dwellings and/or Home Units.
• You have never been refused any type of insurance.
• You have not suffered bankruptcy.
• You have not incurred 2 or more claims in the last 3 years or a singular claim in excess of $5,000 in the last 5 years.
• The construction period will not exceed 18 months.
• The construction will be a freestanding structure located outside the State's central business district.
• The risk is not located north of Bundaberg in Queensland & North of Geraldton in Western Australia.
• There will not be an excavation exceeding 2 metres in depth.
• The construction does not involve construction on steep blocks, reclaimed land, below water table or over water.
• The construction has not already commenced.
• The risk is not subject to Historic or Heritage order.
• The construction does not involve kit homes. (Please note that this restriction does not apply to Harkaway Homes or UBuild Homes where the Owner Builder engage contractors.)
• The project will not involve swimming pool construction.
• There is not any asbestos being removed.
• The construction does not relate to a non-residential contract.
• You have read and understood FD Beck's privacy policy.
